This release focuses on critical updates to the QuickBooks Online integration. We have adjusted the synchronization logic to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance with recent changes to the QuickBooks platform, specifically for multi-state operations.

New Features & Enhancements

QuickBooks Online (QBO) Sync Updates

To maintain compatibility with recent updates to the QuickBooks Online platform, we have adjusted our data synchronization logic to ensure accurate tax coding.

Invoice Syncing: We now sync the Service Address directly to the QBO "Ship To" field. Additionally, we force the "Ship From" address to match the "Ship To" address in QBO.
Multi-State Tax Accuracy: This ensures that QBO uses these fields to determine the correct tax codes for the invoice. This update resolves tax calculation issues for bases that operate in 2+ states, ensuring that the tax code is correct regardless of the state.

⚠️ Critical Workflow Reminder: Do not update invoices directly within QuickBooks Online. Zr Ware must remain the source of truth. Modifying an invoice inside QBO will override the tax configuration sent by Zr Ware, potentially resulting in tax discrepancies between the two systems.

Recommendation: With these changes regarding tax calculation logic, please verify your tax amounts in QBO for the first few transactions. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact Support immediately.
