1. Forgot Password or Locked Account
If you forgot your password or your account has been locked, you can follow the steps below:
- Get to the login screen of the application.
- Click on the 'Forgot Password' button.
- Enter your email
- Click submit
- You should see a confirmation box stating that an email has been sent and receive an email with a link to reset your password.
- Click on 'Reset your password'.
- You should be taken to a page where you can enter a new password.
- Enter new password and click 'Change Password'.
- You will be taken to a confirmation page.
- Click 'Go to Login page'.
You have successfully reset your password.
2. Changing Passwords within the Desktop App
Follow the steps below to change your password from within the desktop application.
- Click on your name in the top right corner.
- Click on 'Your Profile'.
- Click on 'I would like to change my password'.
- Fill out your current password and the new password.
- Click 'Save Change & Reload.
Your new password is set.
3. Admin Password Override
If you have the Franchise Admin Permission you can follow the steps below to change a password.
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Find the name of the user you are wanting to change the password on.
- Click on the edit user icon to the right of that user.
- Click on the reset password field to generate a new password.
- Copy that password and click save to save the new password.
- Send that new password to the user to use. It will require that user change the password when they first login.
4. Changing Passwords within the Tech App
Follow the steps below to change your password from within the technician application.
- Click on the hamburger icon (menu button) on the top left of your screen.
- Click on 'Change Password'.
- Click on 'I would like to change my password'.
- Fill out your current password and the new password.
- Click 'Save Change & Reload.
- You should be redirected back to the mobile application with the new password saved.

5. Password Requirements
- Any new or updated passwords will now require a minimum of 12 characters and at least 1 numeric and alphabetic character (PCI DSS Requirement 8.3.6).
- Passwords cannot contain words like "carpet", "clean", "zerorez", or "password".
- When resetting a password, you can't use one of your previous 4 passwords.
- Users are forced to change their password after an Admin resets it from Admin > Users.
- Users are locked out after 5 unsuccessful password login attempts in 5 minutes.
- Users will need to reset their password in order to unlock the account.
- Users are locked out after 6 unsuccessful password login attempts in 24 hours.
- Users will need to reset their password in order to unlock the account.
