Forced Services are line items that will automatically show up on bookings. Forced Services show up based off of what department the services on the booking are in.
Example of a Residential Forced Service line item set up:
Department Priority on Forced Services:
When you create forced services, we will automatically add them based off of department priority. Department priority is the order in which the departments are shown in Admin > Departments. This means that if you have a booking that has both Residential and Commercial services on it and your Commercial department is a higher priority, it will only add the Commercial forced service. If you don't have a Commercial forced service set up, it won't add any forced service. If you only have Residential services on the booking, as soon as you add the first Residential service onto the booking, it will add the Residential forced service automatically.
Promo Codes and Forced Services:
After creating a forced service, any promo codes that you create moving forward will automatically a include the forced service on the Excluded Products list.
If you don't want the promo code to affect any previously existing promo codes, you will need to go in and edit the promo codes and add the forced service line item to the list of Excluded Products.
