1. Select Admin from the main navigation bar.
2. Select Reservations from the side menu.
3. If this check-box is unchecked, the online scheduler will function as if there were no Departments set up. In other words, appointments scheduled by customers will be cross-Department, and will not be split by Department.
There are a few differences when online reservations are split by departments.
If a customer requests services that are associated with multiple different departments, they will be split into multiple bookings.
Otherwise, the booking will proceed as before.
The differences in how the scheduler appears are outlined below.
This is the first screen the customer will encounter that may have differences.
1. Grout Sealing and "Tile Cleaning (Residential..." appear in the "Carpet Cleaning, Tile and Stone" section because in the Admin section, those products are assigned to the Residential Department. Since products are split by department, they are grouped with the Hall, and Area Carpet Cleaning products because they also belong to the Residential Department.
2. The Tile Cleaning product in this section is here because it belongs to the Stone Department.
For more information on setting up Departments, see this article.
For more information on assigning Categories, see this article.
The same splitting from the Estimate Page above applies on the Schedule Page below.
The customer will need to book an appointment for every Department whose services are requested. In this case, three appointments are required.
