V2 Capacities Article
All franchises that use the online scheduler or the intelligent booking feature need to set up capacities. Please make sure your arrival windows are set prior to setting these capacities.
1. Change Selected Date
To select a date to apply capacities to.
- Click on the date in the top-right corner.
- Select a date from the drop-down.
The new date will be loaded.
3. Set Capacities
- Online capacities will show the routes in the first column and the zones in the 2nd column.
- Click the up arrow next to the zone name to set the zone capacities for that day.
Once you have the zone capacities set, you click and drag the routes to the zones that you want those jobs scheduled on. For easy reference, the zone names in this example are the same as the route names. Once the route has been placed next to the zone, click the up arrow to set how many jobs you want on that route in that zone.
The number set on a route or zone acts as an upper limit for the number of jobs that can be placed on it.
It does not guarantee that a certain number of jobs will be placed on the route, nor does that the route or zone will be available.
The setting simply prevents the scheduler from placing a job on the route or zone if doing so would exceed this number.
Continue dragging the routes to the zones until all desired zones have a route.
You are able to assign multiple routes to a zone as you will notice with the Utah S zone.
If you want to remove a route from a zone, just use the down arrows to take the capacity back to 0.
Red means the route has been closed for that day in Admin > Routes > Full Day Closures.
4. Copy Capacities
Once your capacities are set, you have the ability to copy those capacities to other days by clicking Copy Capacities.
The copy capacities screen will pop up.
Click on the dates that you would like to copy the capacities to. For my capacities, I want them to copy to Thursdays so I will select all Thursdays.
Click Copy Capacity Settings and your settings will be updated.
