This example comes from the Client Screen. The comment boxes will look similar throughout the system. However, the client screen is the only place you can edit comments.
1. Show Inactive Checkbox: Checking this will show all the comments that were deactivated by using the trash can.
2. Expand Button: Clicking this will open up a larger view of the comment. It is in view only mode. To edit the comment you can click on the 'Edit raw HTML' button. To go back to the view only mode click on the 'View formatted HTML' button.
3. Edit Button: Clicking this will open up a larger view of the comment in edit mode.
4. Trash Can Button: Clicking this deactivates a comment.
5. Add New Comment: This is where you can add new notes for the client. We have restrictions in place to help prevent Credit Card numbers from being saved here accidentally. These restrictions may prevent you from adding phone numbers here.
Workarounds:
- Try formatting it like 'phone:784-344-3838' to get it to work.
- Add the phone number to the contact.
6. Prev/Next Buttons: You can use these buttons at the bottom to navigate comment history if needed.
