Texting

The Admin → Texting page allows you to connect your texting provider to Zr Ware and manage text message settings for your company.

Key Features

• Enable/Disable Text Messages: Control the availability of confirmation and ETA text messages by department.
• SMS Provider Integration: Connect Zr Ware with your preferred texting provider by entering your credentials.

Configuration

1. Enable Text Messages

 

• Texting is enabled on a per-department basis.
• To enable confirmation text messages for a specific department, check the corresponding box.
• Jobs are associated with departments based on the products/services assigned. A job can belong to multiple departments.
• For a job to receive a confirmation text, at least one of its associated departments must have texting enabled.

 

2. Enable ETA Text Messages

• When enabled, customers automatically receive ETA notifications when a technician updates the job's estimated arrival time.

3. SMS Provider

• Select your texting provider from the available options.
• Enter the required credentials obtained from your provider to establish the connection.
• Contact support if you have any questions or need assistance with this process.

 

Error Handling:

429 Too many requests

• If the system exceeds the API rate limit due to a high volume of requests, it will automatically wait for the recommended time before retrying the API call.
