Booking and Scheduling

The Booking and Scheduling page allows you to manage your capacity goals, booking length thresholds and the default map settings.
These settings only restrict availability in the online booker or the intelligent booker(feature where the arrival windows show up under the calendar on the create/edit booking screen). In Zr Ware®, CSR’s and Dispatch can use these settings as guides when booking jobs on routes/days but they will ultimately have full control on how many jobs and how big of jobs they want to put on routes.

 

Booking & Scheduling Management

Each of these settings are set by department. Click on an arrow to expand the department's settings. Make sure you save the settings for each department before navigating away.

 

1. Capacity Goals - Enter the maximum number of bookings per route and the maximum job amount you would like to strive for for each day. 
   The Daily Capacity = Number of bookings * Amount per Job. 
   If you have 4 routes open for a specific day and you chose 4 for the number of bookings a route can handle, you will have a daily capacity for 16 bookings. If you need to set custom capacities for a day, you have the ability to do that on the Schedule screen.

2. Capacity Warning Threshold - This threshold determines when days turn yellow on the calendar used on the booking screen. If the number of jobs available on a route is less than or equal to the threshold (but not zero), it will be yellow. Otherwise, it will be green or red. The number of jobs available is determined by subtracting the number of jobs on the route from the number defined in #1 above.
    
3. Booking Length Thresholds - Zr Ware® gives you the ability to estimate the amount of time it will take to complete a job. By setting these thresholds, the amount of time estimated will be populated when the job is put on the schedule.

 

Default Booking Time Frame

You have the ability to set a default for the booking time frame that appears on the booking screen. Select the time frame you would like to set as default and click the "Save Default Time Frame and Map Settings" at the top.

 

Scheduling Controls

As Zr Ware is a very visual program, especially when it comes to scheduling and routing, the map needs to be set to include all of your area. Whatever map is displayed in the default map settings will appear on the booking screen and in the Schedule Map View.
