1. Define Search
This section allows you to define and use search criteria.
- Date Type: This allows you to choose which date you want to use to search by. You can choose the Text Created Date (which is the date on which the text was sent), or you can choose the Booking Appointment Date (which is the appointment date of the booking for which the text was sent).
- Date Range: Filter the results by choosing a start and end date.
- Phone: The phone number you wish to search for. This may be left blank to search for any phone number.
- Type: the type of text you are searching for.
- Confirmation - Confirmation texts were used to confirm the appointment.
- ETA - ETA texts tell the customer when the technician will arrive.
- User Invoice Link - The User Invoice Link lets the customer go through the payment process on their own phone.
- Waiver Link - The Waiver Link lets the customer sign and view waivers from their phone.
- Booking Review Invitation Link - The Booking Review Invitation Link sends out after a booking is completed and lets the customer leave a review.
- SMS Marketing Opt In Confirmation - This text lets the customer know they have been opted in to marketing text messages by someone other than themselves. They should have the option to opt-out at that point by replying to the text.
- Partial Reservations SMS Follow-Up - This text is used to follow up with customers who created partial reservations in the online booker.
- Status. Sending: this is the status of texts which are in the process of being sent. This status will rarely be seen, since the process happens quickly. Sent: The text message was sent. Confirmed: The customer has confirmed the appointment date, time, and address of their appointment. Error: There was an error sending the text message.
- Page Size. This is the number of rows that can be displayed on the page at the same time. More results can be given, but they will need to be scrolled through. Different numbers may be selected from the dropdown.
- Search. When you have finished specifying the criteria, click the search button.
2. Filter Results
You can use the Filter Results field to further filter results after pressing the Search button in the previous step.
You can filter by name, phone number, Sender, Type, Status, or Message (i.e. the column names that appear in the search results).
- Total. The total number of rows that were returned by the search in step 2.
- Filtered Total. The total number of rows that match your filtered search in this step.
3. View Results
This section of the page is where the results of the search are displayed.
- Date Sent. This is the date on which the text message was sent to the customer.
- Appointment Date. This is the date currently set for the appointment. Note that this is not the date that was sent to the customer in the text, but rather is the current appointment date of the booking in question.
- Client Name. The name of the service contact on the booking. This is the name of the client who was sent the text.
- Phone. The phone number that was sent the text message.
- Sender. The name of the user who initiated the sending of the text message.
- Type. The confirmation type of the text message sent, which may either be a Confirmation or ETA. Confirmation texts were used to confirm the appointment. ETA texts are sent when technicians set an ETA on their appointment.
- Status. Sending: this is the status of texts which are in the process of being sent. This status will rarely be seen, since the process happens quickly. Sent: The text message was sent. Confirmed: The customer has confirmed the appointment date, time, and address of their appointment. Error: There was an error sending the text message.
- Message. The original message that was sent to the customer.
- Active.
- For confirmation texts, a checkmark indicates that the link sent to the customer is still valid, and may be clicked on. If there is no check, then the appointment date or time has changed, and so the customer will not be able to confirm their appointment with the link sent in the text.
- For ETAs, the active check has no real meaning.
If the result set is large, not all results may be displayed on the page at the same time.
- Current number of results being displayed on page.
- Total number of results.
- Use the Prev and Next buttons to scroll through results.
