Quickbooks Setup

To connect Quickbooks to Zr Ware™, click the Connect to Quickbooks. This will take you to the Quickbooks login. Please log in and follow the on screen directions to authorize Zr Ware™.

Once Quickbooks is successfully connected to Zr Ware™, you will see the button change from Connect to Quickbooks, to Disconnect from Quickbooks. If you ever need to disconnect Quickbooks, just click the disconnect button.

When setting up a new Quickbooks Online account you need to take the following steps:

Create a new Chart of Account with the exact name Undefined.
- This is used when the system syncs products/services for the very first time. They will be labeled with this Undefined Chart of Account by default. From there, you can go and categorize them however you want.
Make sure you have connected your QBO account with a Tax Agency
For those using ACH payment method, ensure that ACH is entered in as a payment method from within quickbooks.
For those using the Afterpay method, ensure that Afterpay (no space) is entered in as a payment method from within quickbooks.

Note: Since QBO requires all integrations to use OAuth2 authentication, we believe this is no longer an issue as of 2020. If this does happen to you please let us know.

Every 6 months, Quickbooks will disconnect from Zr Ware™ for security purposes. If this happens, you will see the above error appear in your Quickbooks error log. When this happens, you will need to disconnect and reconnect Quickbooks.
