Purpose
This report provides a detailed geographical summary of your online reservation performance. By aggregating data down to the regional zone and individual postal code level, it helps you understand exactly where your most successful bookings are originating and how effectively specific service areas convert potential customers into completed appointments.
How to Use This Report
Target Geographic Marketing: Use the Zip Code and Percent columns to identify high-converting or underperforming neighborhoods. This is ideal for deciding where to focus direct mail, localized digital marketing, or promotional efforts.
Analyze Zone Performance: Review the shaded subtotal rows for each Zone Name (as seen in image below, where areas like 'SLC NE' and 'Utah N' are summarized). This allows you to quickly evaluate the health of your broader service territories without getting lost in individual zip codes.
Identify Geographic Drop-off: Compare the Viewed Postal Code and Email column to the Completed column for specific areas. A high view count but low completion rate in a certain zip code might indicate customer confusion regarding your service boundaries, pricing misalignments for that demographic, or lack of schedule availability in that route.
Report Filters and Data Scope
Before analyzing the data, it is crucial to understand how this report is generated and how you can filter it:
Date Range: The report includes reservations based on their scheduled visit date, not the date the booking was made.
Geographic Aggregation: This report groups your metrics hierarchically: first by company/base, then by predefined service zones, and finally by individual postal codes.
Filtering by Location: You can run this report for a single base or across a group of bases, provided you have the appropriate access and permissions configured for those entities.
Understanding the Report Columns
Each column name below links directly to its definition in the main Glossary of Terms. The summary here explains how to use these columns together to analyze performance.
Base Name, Zone Name, and Zip Code These columns organize the data geographically. Base Name identifies the overarching business entity, Zone Name groups the data into your specific regional territories, and Zip Code provides the most granular level of detail for where the customer initiated the booking.
Viewed Postal Code and Email → Completed This is the core conversion funnel shown in the report, categorized geographically. Viewed Postal Code and Email shows how many people in a specific zip code started the booking process, while Completed shows how many actually finished scheduling their visit. Comparing these two numbers reveals your customer drop-off rate for specific neighborhoods.
Percent This column automatically calculates the conversion rate, showing the percentage of users in that specific zip code or zone who started the process and successfully completed it. Use this as your primary metric for comparing the baseline booking efficiency of different geographic areas. A higher percentage indicates better performance.
