Search for a Client
- Click "Client" in the navigation bar.
- Select the search box. The default is to search for Client Details by Name, Email, Phone Number, or Address (pictured below). This option can be slow for companies that have a lot of contact information to search through. You can click on the drop down to the right (pictured below) of the search field to narrow your search criteria down to:
- Email Only
- Phone Number Only
- Invoice Number Only
- Note: Selecting a client from this search will still take you to the client page. You will need to go to the client history section and search for that invoice again to locate a specific invoice.
3. Search for the client.
4. A list of clients that match your search will appear below the search bar.
-
- Inactive clients will have a slash through the name and a tag that says 'inactive'.
5. Clicking on the client will bring up their client record.
-
- Details of the client screen will be discussed in the article "Navigating the Client Screen".
What clients show up in the search?
1. If you have access to view clients in a base, the search will return clients in that base while logged into that base.
2. If your parent company is the parent company of a set of bases and you have access to search for clients in those bases, your search will return clients from all the bases. Reach out to support for help setting this up.
